St John's Wood?

Location

If you want to buy or rent a house or flat in or around the lovely, leafy area of St John's Wood, near central London, I can help you find your little property treasure. I can be your NW8 relocation agent or property finder. I have experience in residential property investment and development, and am an excellent and practical interior designer.

Leafy St John's Wood is a prime residential area in north London, towards central London.

Parks and recreational grounds

The local parks are world renowned: Regents Park covering some 395 acres with its boating lake, children's playgrounds and Open Air Theatre, and Primrose Hill with its magnificent views over the City of London. St John's Wood hosts both London Zoo and Lord's Cricket ground as well as a number of smaller playgrounds.

Schools

The American School is in St John's Wood, good preparatory schools abound and coaches to some of the very best private secondary schools operate a service from here.

Transport links

There are excellent transport links: St John's Wood is in zone 2 on the Jubilee underground line and the two A roads servicing the area are teeming with buses and taxis. The West End is 10 minutes away, the City around 20-30 minutes and the financial district of Canary Wharf in the east of London is only 27 minutes by tube train.

Local amenities

The high street area is full of designer boutiques and patisseries as well as more practical shops and an excellent library. It is not hard to spot the celebrities or their chauffeurs. The area accommodates a range of private hospitals, doctors, dentists, restaurants, bars, gyms, churches and synagogues and the Central London Mosque. Just beyond the northern boundary of St John's Wood is the Swiss Cottage Odeon cinema showing 2D, 3D and IMAX films and the Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre with its gym, swimming pool, library and outstanding soft play areas. And of course, St John's Wood holds beautiful, exclusive and highly desirable housing stock.

Investment

St John's Wood property is well-regarded as a good investment and although values can of course rise and fall, historically, and especially in recent years, the equity of St John's Wood has maintained a superb rate of growth.
